Description
A less strenuous Class II/III segment, the Lower Fuy transports us to Lago Pirihueico, the final stop on the Rio Fuy's voyage to Lago Panguipulli. As the grade lessens, the river spreads and provides breathtaking views of the neighbouring volcanoes. The Class III and IV portions of the Fuy are ideal for this warm-up run. There are several of locations to practise combat rolls, eddy catching, surfing and ferries. We will paddle the short distance back to the sandy beach next to our inn at the lake's confluence.
